Paragraph 11 Delegation

(1)

Any function of the Ombudsman may be exercised on the Ombudsman’s behalf—

(a)

by any person (whether or not a deputy Ombudsman or a member of the Ombudsman’s staff) authorised by the Ombudsman to do so, and

(b)

to the extent so authorised.

(2)

Sub-paragraph (1) does not affect the responsibility of the Ombudsman for the exercise of that officer’s functions.
