Section 11 Offences
(1)
Subject to paragraph (2), any person who contravenes byelaw 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9(2) commits an offencef1.
(2)
No offence is committed where a person has a reasonable excuse for contravening paragraph (k), (l) or (m) of byelaw 7.

Under section 17(2) of the Military Lands Act 1892 (c. 43) an offence against the byelaws is punishable on summary conviction by a fine not exceeding level 2 on the standard scale.
