Section 243 of the CJA 2003 is amended as follows.

At the end of subsection (1) insert

“, and
(c)
the court has specified under section 327(3) of the Sentencing Code the number of days for which the prisoner was so kept in custody.”

In subsection (2A), for “subsection (2)” substitute “ section 327(3) of the Sentencing Code ”.
