Section 9 of that Act (British citizenship immaterial) is amended as follows.

(2)

In subsection (1), at the beginning insert “ Except as provided by section 5(1A), ”.

(3)

In subsection (2)(a), for “section 1, 2 or 3 above” substitute “ this Act ”.

(4)

In subsection (2)(c), for “section 3 above” substitute “ this Act ”.
