Article 12 Amendment of the Act of 1937 and the Order of 1978

(1)

Section 5 of the Act of 1937 is amended as follows—

(a)

in paragraph (5), for “forty shillings” substitute “level 4 on the standard scale”, and

(b)

in paragraph (9)(b), for “forty shillings” substitute “level 4 on the standard scale”.

(2)

The Order of 1978 is amended as follows—

(a)

in article 5(2)—

(i)

in each place it appears, for “£100” substitute “level 4 on the standard scale”, and

(ii)

for “£20” substitute “£50”;

(b)

in article 9(4)(b)—

(i)

in each place it appears, for “£100” substitute “level 4 on the standard scale”, and

(ii)

for “£20” substitute “£50”;

(c)

in article 21(1), for “£100” substitute “level 4 on the standard scale”.
