The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 17(1), 17(2), 30(2) and 35(1) of the Defence Reform Act 2014f1.

2014 c. 20. Section 14(1) defines “single source regulations”. Section 17 was amended by paragraph 9 of Schedule 10 to the Procurement Act 2023 (c. 54) (which was inserted by section 117 of that Act), and section 35(1)(a) was amended by paragraph 18(2) of Schedule 10 of the Procurement Act 2023.
