The Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 27 of the Further and Higher Education Act 1992^f1 (“the Act”).

This Order is made with the consent of the further education corporation established to conduct Derby College^f2. It is made for the purpose of giving effect to a proposal for the dissolution of the further education corporation established to conduct The South East Derbyshire College^f3 (“the corporation”) made by the Learning and Skills Council for England. The Secretary of State has consulted the corporation.
