Regulation 38 Credits for an additional period in respect of entitlement to carer’s allowance or carer support payment and relevant benefitsF1F8

prior to the date on which that person becomes entitled to carer’s allowance by virtue of subsection (1) of section 70 of the 1992 Act F2or F3the carer support payment component of carer support given in accordance with the Carer’s Assistance (Carer Support Payment) (Scotland) Regulations 2023;

subject to paragraph (2), following the end of the week in which that person ceases to be entitled to carer’s allowance by virtue of that subsection F4or F5the carer support payment component of carer support by virtue of those Regulations;

following the end of a week in which regulation 37(2)(a) ceases to be satisfied.
