(1)

The Secretary of State may designate persons by name F1in accordance with regulation 5A (conditions for the designation of persons by name) for the purposes of any of the following—

(a)

regulations 12 to 16 (asset-freeze etc.); F2...

F3(aa)

regulation 17A (director disqualification sanctions);

(b)

regulation 18 (immigration).

(2)

The Secretary of State may designate different persons for the purpose of different provisions mentioned in paragraph (1).
