The Secretary of State for Education and Science and the Minister for the Civil Service, in joint exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 of the Superannuation (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1948 as amended by paragraph 25 of schedule 6 to the Superannuation Act 1972 and vested in them^f1, hereby make the following rules:—
