Paragraph 3

In section 22 of the National Assistance Act 1948&

(a)

in subsection (3), for the words “ the Ministry of Social Security Act 1966” there shall be substituted the words “ the Supplementary Benefits Act 1976”;

(b)

in subsection (5), for the words “ Schedule 2 to the Ministry of Social Security Act 1966” there shall be substituted the words “ Schedule 1 to the Supplementary Benefits Act 1976”; and

(c)

in subsection (9), for the words “ the Ministry of Social Security Act 1966” there shall be substituted the words “ the Supplementary Benefits Act 1976”.
