The Department of the Environment makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Articles 5 and 36 of the Water (Northern Ireland) Order 1999f1, and, being a department designated f2 for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 f3 in relation to the environment, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by that section.
