Paragraph 10

in an Academy F1school, alternative provision Academy, city technology college or a city college for the technology of the arts by the proprietor of such an establishment;

in a 16 to 19 Academy by the proprietor of the Academy;

by a Multi-Academy Trust; or

by the sponsor of a proposed Academy, and in this paragraph “sponsor of a proposed Academy” means any person who approaches the Secretary of State expressing an interest in establishing and maintaining an Academy with a view to creating a charitable company limited by guarantee and which company it is proposed will then enter into an Academy agreement as defined in section 1 of the Academies Act 2010 M1.
