Regulation 6 Entitlement to payment of retirement benefits

Regulation E4 of the principal Regulations is amended by inserting after paragraph (7) the following:

“(7A)

If regulation 4(5) of the Teachers (Compensation for Redundancy and Premature Retirement) Regulations 1989^f1 (employer to notify for purposes of those Regulations if requested by governing body) applies, the employer must notify the Secretary of State as mentioned in paragraph (7).”.
