Section 16 Contributions to expenses of land drainage works.
The council of a receiving district or an authority eligible to participate may contribute towards expenses F1incurred by the National Rivers Authority or by an internal drainage boardin the execution of works rendered necessary by the carrying out of development which, in the opinion of the authority making the contribution, is town development within the meaning of this Act.
