(1)

A manufacturer of toys which are manufactured by means of series production must ensure that procedures are in place to ensure that any toy so manufactured will comply with the essential safety requirements during its foreseeable and normal period of use.

(2)

In doing so, the manufacturer must take into account—

(a)

any change in the design or characteristics of the toy; and

(b)

any change which has been made to any of the F1designated standards referred to in the F2... declaration of conformity drawn up in relation to the toy.
