Paragraph 1 Equal Pay Act 1970

The Equal Pay Act 1970^f1 is amended as follows.

In the following provisions^f2 for “Minister” in each place substitute “Secretary of State”—

(a)

section 2(2) (disputes as to, and enforcement of, requirement of equal treatment);

(b)

section 5(1) and (3) (agricultural wages orders);

(c)

section 7B(2) and (4) to (7) (questioning of employer)^f3.

In section 11 (short title, interpretation and extent), omit subsection (2B)^f4.
