This Order may be cited as the Transport Act 1985 (Commencement No. 6) Order 1986.

(2)

In this Order—

  • “the 1847 Act” means the provisions of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847 with respect to hackney carriages;

  • “the 1889 Act” means the Town Police Clauses Act 1889;

  • “the 1981 Act” means the Public Passenger Vehicles Act 1981;and

  • “the 1985 Act” means the Transport Act 1985.
