Paragraph 6

In section 12 of that Act (borrowing powers of Executive)—

(a)

in subsection (3)(d) the words from “or by” to the end of the paragraph shall be omitted; and

(b)

in subsection (4)—

(i)

for the words “Each of the councils of constituent areas” there shall be substituted the words “The Authority for the Executive’s area”;

(ii)

for the words “such a council” there shall be substituted the words “the Authority for a passenger transport area”; and

(iii)

for the word “council” in each place where it occurs in paragraphs (a) and (b) there shall be substituted the word “Authority”.
