Section 28 Enforcement of fares

Paragraph 7 of Schedule 17 to the 1999 Act shall be amended as follows.

For sub-paragraph (1) substitute—

“(1)

A person shall, if required to do so by an authorised person, give his name and address to him if—

(a)

he is required by the authorised person to pay a penalty fare, or

(b)

he would be liable to pay a penalty fare if so required by the authorised person.”.
