Section 47 Short title, repeals, extent and commencement.

(1)

This Act may be cited as the Transport (London) Act 1969.

C1(2)

The enactments specified in Schedule 6 to this Act are hereby repealed to the extent specified in the third column of that Schedule.

(3)

The provisions of this Act other than—

a)(b)

the repeals made in the M1House of Commons Disqualification Act 1957,

shall not extend to Scotland.

This Act shall come into force on such day as the Minister may by order appoint, and different days may be appointed for different purposes and different provisions of this Act.
