Article 9 Insertion of definitions and interpretation into the 2004 Regulations

Regulation 2 of the 2004 Regulations (interpretation) is amended as follows.

In paragraph (1) insert the following definitions at the appropriate places—

  • ““address”, in relation to electronic communications, means any number or address used for the purposes of such communications;”;

  • ““electronic communication” has the same meaning as in the Electronic Communications Act 2000 (c. 7);”.
