Article 2 Transfer of functions of the Transport Tribunal and Appeal Panel

The functions of the Transport Tribunal under the Road Traffic Act 1988^f1, the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988^f2, the Postal Services Act 2000^f3, the Vehicle Drivers (Certificates of Professional Competence) Regulations 2007^f4 and the European Communities (Recognition of Professional Qualifications) Regulations 2007^f5 are transferred to the First-tier Tribunal.

The functions of a panel of persons appointed by the Lord Chancellor under section 189(6) of the Greater London Authority Act 1999^f6 are transferred to the First-tier Tribunal.

The functions of the Transport Tribunal under the Public Passenger Vehicles Act 1981^f7, the Transport Act 1985^f8, the Goods Vehicles (Licensing of Operators) Act 1995^f9, section 155 of the Transport Act 2000^f10, the Local Transport Act 2008^f11, the Goods Vehicles (Community Authorisations) Regulations 1992^f12, the Public Service Vehicles (Community Licences) Regulations 1999^f13, the Road Transport (Passenger Vehicles Cabotage) Regulations 1999^f14 and the Goods Vehicles (Enforcement Powers) Regulations 2001^f15 are transferred to the Upper Tribunal.
