PUBLIC PROCUREMENT

The Treasury, being designatedf1 for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972f2 in relation to public procurement, in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by the said section 2(2) and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Regulations—

1972 c. 68: the provisions in relation to public procurement have been extended to various European States which are not member States by agreements with the European Union; those agreements, have been designated as European Treaties under section 1(3) of the European Communities Act 1972; the agreements and the statutory provisions designating each of them as European Treaties, are listed in Schedule 2 (see regulation 4).
