The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 16A(1), (2) and (3) and 126(3) and (4) of the National Health Service Act 1977f1 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, following compliance with the consultation requirements contained in regulations made under section 16A(5) of the Actf2, hereby makes the following Order:

1Citation and commencement

(1)

This Order may be cited as the Uttlesford Primary Care Trust (Establishment) Amendment Order 2001 and shall come into force on 1st April 2001.

(2)

In this Order “the Order” means the Uttlesford Primary Care Trust (Establishment) Oreder 2000f1; and

  • “the trust” means the trust established by the Order.

1Amendment of the Primary Care Trust Establishment Order

(1)

The Schedule to the Order shall be amended in accordance with the following paragraphs.

(2)

In the entry for the district of Uttlesford after Littlebury there shall be inserted “Little Hallingbury”.

Explanatory note

This Order amends the establishment order of the Uttlesford Primary Care Trust (“the trust”), a Primary Care Trust established by Order under section 16A of the National Health Service Act 1977 by extending the area in which the trust is to undertake its functions.
