The Secretary of State for Social Security, in exercise of the powers conferred bysection 1(2)(i) of the Vaccine Damage Payments Act 1979f1 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:

1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Vaccine Damage Payments (Specified Disease) Order 1990 and shall come into force on 9th April 1990.

2Addition to the diseases to which the Vaccine Damage Payments Act applies

Mumps is specified as a disease to which the Vaccine Damage Payments Act 1979 applies.
