Regulation 2 Amendment of the Vegetable Seeds Regulations 1993F1I1

(1)

The Vegetable Seeds Regulations 1993f1 shall be amended in accordance with the provisions of this regulation.

(2)

In the table in paragraph 8 of Part I of Schedule 5 (sampling of seed lots) there shall be added at the end the following new line—

“

20,001 kg and aboveone primary sample for each 700 kg but not less than 40

”.

(3)

In the table in Part II of Schedule 5 (maximum weight of a seed lot and minimum weight of a submitted sample) there shall be substituted for the figure “20” in the columns headed “Maximum lot weight (tonnes)” opposite the entries “Broad bean”, “French bean” and “Pea” in the columns headed “Kind”the figure “25”.
