Paragraph 9 Supply by a veterinary surgeon when he is not presentI1

(1)

A veterinary surgeon supplying a veterinary medicinal product need not be present when it is handed over, but if he is not present—

(a)

he must authorise each transaction individually before the product is supplied;

(b)

he must have satisfied himself that the person handing it over is competent to do so.

(2)

It is an offence to fail to comply with this paragraph.
