After regulation 20 (identification of secure storage) insert—

“Provision of private area for production of proof of identity: England and Wales and Scotland

20A.

The petition officer must ensure that each petition signing place in England, Wales and Scotland contains an area in which a person who attends that place for the purpose of signing the petition can produce proof of identity in private.”.
