In this Schedule “reference period” means—

(a)

where regulation 17(3)(a) applies, the period of 52 consecutive weeks;

(b)

where regulation 17(3)(b) applies, the period of 13 or more consecutive weeks during which the supplier has carried on a retail trade in milk.
