Section 144 Abolition of Board's general functions and replacement of schemes with standards

The functions conferred by section 3 of the 1993 Act (and transferred as mentioned in section 143) are abolished.

Part 2 of the 1993 Act ceases to apply to a person if and when that person first becomes subject to the duty under section 25(1) of this Measure to comply with a standard.

The following provisions of the 1993 Act are repealed—

section 3;

I6(b)

section 4(1).
