In this Order—

  • “the Council” means Cumbria County Council;

  • “the harbour” means the port and harbour of Workington within the limits of the harbour prescribed by section 12 (Harbour limits) of the Workington Harbour and Dock (Transfer) Act 1957; and

  • “the signed plan” means the plan signed in triplicate by an Under Secretary in the Department of Transport, two copies of which have been deposited at that Department and one copy of which has been deposited at the offices of the Council situated at The Courts, Carlisle.
