Section 4 Powers of Commissioners.C1

The first Commissioner and the other Commissioners for the time being of Works, and all officers of the Commissioners of Works, shall retain and have for the purposes of this Act in relation to the Corporation hereby confirmed all the powers and authorities given to or enjoyed by them in relation to any of the Corporations hereby dissolved, and also all the powers and authority given to or enjoyed by them by or under the M1Crown Lands Act 1851 and the M2Commissioners of Works Act 1852.
