Paragraph 16 Noise MitigationI1

No part of the authorised development is to commence until written details of the proposed noise mitigation for the use and operation of that part of the authorised development, including noise barriers, noise bunds and low noise surfacing, has been submitted to and approved in writing by the Secretary of State, following consultation with the relevant planning authority.
The written details referred to in sub-paragraph (1) must—
reflect the mitigation measures for operation included in Chapter 11, Noise and Vibration, of the environmental statement; or
where these materially differ from these measures, must demonstrate that the mitigation proposed would not give rise to any materially new or materially different environmental effects in comparison with those reported in the environmental statement.
The noise mitigation measures referred to in sub-paragraph (1) must be retained thereafter.
