Section 8 InterpretationI1

In this Act—

• “enforcement authority”, for a relevant offence, has the meaning given by section 1(4);

• “local authority” means—

  1. (a)

     a district council or county council in England,

  2. (b)

     a London borough council,

  3. (c)

     the Common Council of the City of London, or

  4. (d)

     the Council of the Isles of Scilly;

• “relevant offence” has the meaning given by section 1(2).
