The Secretary of State for Defence makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1(1)f1 and (2)(h)f2, 2(1)f3, 3(1) to (4), and 18(5) of the Public Service Pensions Act 2013f4.

In accordance with section 3(5) of that Act, these Regulations are made with consent of the Treasury.
