The Secretary of State for Education and Skills makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 62(2), (3) and (5), 63(2), (4) and (6), 64(3) and (5), 67, 69(1) and (2), 90(2), 96(6)(b) and 104(2) of the Childcare Act 2006f1.

In accordance with section 67(2) of that Act he has consulted with Her Majesty’s Chief Inspector of Schools in England and with other persons he considers appropriate.
