The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 2(1) of the County Courts Act 1984f1, hereby makes the following Order:

This Order may be cited as the Civil Courts (Amendment No.2) Order 1993 and shall come into force on 4th January 1994.

The holding of the East Grinstead, Hexham, Malton, Thorne and Whitby County Courts shall be discontinued and Schedule 3 to the Civil Courts Order 1983f1 shall accordingly be amended by deleting the entries relating to those courtsf2.

This Order amends the Civil Courts Order 1983 so as to close the East Grinstead, Hexham, Malton, Thorne and Whitby County Courts.
