Article 52 (operational obligations for notified bodies) is amended as follows.

In the heading and paragraphs 1 and 2, for “notified”, in each place it occurs, substitute “ approved ”.
(3)
In paragraphs 3 and 4, for “a notified” substitute “ an approved ”.
(4)
In paragraph 5, for “notified” substitute “ approved ”.
