Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1

The Secretary of State, as a Minister designated^f1 for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972^f2, in relation to matters relating to consumer protection and to the control of advertising, makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(2) of that Act.
