After Part 3 of Schedule 1 insert—

“PART 3A

Fixed fee for Guilty Pleas and Cracked Trials

Scope of Part 3A

7A.

This Part applies to a case committed to the Crown Court on the election of a defendant where the magistrates’ court has determined the case to be suitable for summary trial.

Fixed fee for guilty pleas or cracked trials

7B.

The fee payable to an advocate in relation to a guilty plea or cracked trial to which this Part applies must be £203 per proceedings.”.
