Section 23 Proof of custody of productions.

after the word “prove” there shall be inserted “ (a) ”;

after the word “police” in the second place where it occurs there shall be inserted—

“; or

(b)

that the production examined by him is that taken possession of by the procurator fiscal or the police,”; and

at the end there shall be inserted the words “ or, as the case may be, that it is that taken possession of as aforesaid ”.
