Paragraph 2 F1
There shall be inserted after section 283 a new section as follows—
“ Offences which are to become triable only summarily.
283A(1)The provision of this or any other enactment notwithstanding, the offences mentioned (and broadly described) in column 1 of Schedule 7A to this Act shall be triable only summarily.
(2)Subsection (1) above is without prejudice to any other provision by virtue of which any offence is triable only summarily.]”.
