Regulation 6 Amendment of the Customs (Import Duty, Transit and Miscellaneous Amendments) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019I1

The Customs (Import Duty, Transit and Miscellaneous Amendments) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 M1 are amended as follows.

In regulation 9 (amendment of Part 4)—

(a)

omit paragraph (1);

(b)

omit paragraph (2)(c);

(c)

in paragraph (2)(d), in the new paragraph (8) to be inserted by that paragraph—

(i)

in sub-paragraph (a) omit “and”;

(ii)

at the end of sub-paragraph (b) insert “ ; and ”;

(iii)

after sub-paragraph (b) insert—

“(c)
the principal is established in the United Kingdom.”;

(d)

omit paragraph (3);

(e)

in paragraph (4)(e), in the new paragraph (7) to be inserted by that paragraph—

(i)

in sub-paragraph (a) omit “and”;

(ii)

at the end of sub-paragraph (b) insert “ ; and ”;

(iii)

after sub-paragraph (b) insert—

“(c)
the principal is established in the United Kingdom.”;

(f)

omit paragraph (5).

Omit regulation 10 (amendment of Part 5).

In regulation 12(2) (amendment of regulation 98 – specified amount)—

(a)

omit paragraph (c);
