F1(A1)

The F2Commission is responsible for monitoring the application of Part 3 of this Act, in order to protect the fundamental rights and freedoms of individuals in relation to processing by a competent authority for any of the law enforcement purposes (as defined in Part 3) and to facilitate the free flow of personal data.

This section and Schedule 13 are without prejudice to other functions conferred on the F9Commission, whether by this Act or otherwise.
