The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 52(11) of the Disability Discrimination Actf1 hereby makes the following Order:

1Citation and commencement

This Order may be cited as the Disability Discrimination Code of Practice (Goods, Facilities, Services and Premises) Revocation Order 2002 and shall come into force on 27th May 2002.

2Revocation

The Disability Discrimination Act 1995 Code of Practice on the Rights of Access to Goods, Facilities, Services and Premises (ISBN No. 0-11-271055-7) referred to in the Disability Discrimination Code of Practice (Goods, Facilities, Services and Premises) Order 1999f1 is revoked.

Explanatory note

This Order revokes with effect from 27th May 2002 the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 Code of Practice on the Rights of Access to Goods, Facilities, Services and Premises, issued by the Secretary of State on 29th June 1999.
