In exercise of the powers conferred on the Secretary of State by section 104(1) of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998^f1 and of the powers conferred by that section as it has effect by virtue of the Education (Substituted Grammar Schools) Regulations 1999^f2 the Secretary of State for Education and Employment hereby makes the following Order:
