Regulation 2 Amendment of 1993 Regulations

For regulation 11(6) of the Education (Student Loans) Regulations 1993^f1 there is substituted—

“(6)

In paragraph (5) “disability-related benefits” means—

(a)

the benefits or allowances payable pursuant to the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992^f2 known as invalidity benefit^f3, severe disablement allowance^f4, disability living allowance^f5 and industrial injuries benefit^f6;

(b)

disability premium and severe disability premium payable pursuant to the Income Support (General) Regulations 1987^f7; and

(c)

disability working allowance payable under sections 123(1)(c) and 129 of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992.”.
