Regulation 2 Amendment of the principal Regulations

The following amendments shall be made to paragraph (2) of regulation 3 of Part I of the principal Regulations—

(a)

before the definition of “hearing impaired” there shall be inserted—

  • ““city college” means a city technology college or a city college for the technology of the arts;”; and

(b)

before the definition of “relevant employment” there shall be inserted—

  • ““registered teacher” means a person in respect of whom registration has been effected;”;

  • ““registration” means registration by the Secretary of State in accordance with Part II of Schedule 3 of a person employed as a teacher at a city college who seeks to become a qualified teacher;”.
