Section 306 is amended in accordance with this paragraph.

(2)

In the following provisions, for “local authority” substitute “relevant authority”—

(a)

the heading;

(b)

subsection (1) (in the words before paragraph (a) and in paragraph (c));

(c)

subsection (2) (in the words before paragraph (a));

(d)

subsection (3) (in both places);

(e)

subsection (4).

After subsection (6) insert—

“(7)
In this section “relevant authority” means—
(a)
a local authority, or
(b)
a non-mayoral combined authority or non-mayoral CCA.”
